Review by hotel critic
During my recent Christmas stay at Hotel MX Mas Centro, I was delighted by its beautiful colonial architecture and prime location just two blocks from the Zócalo. Every morning began with a complimentary continental breakfast served on the charming terrace, which offered a welcome variety and a lovely start to our busy days exploring the city's vibrant gastronomic scene and rich history. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing invaluable assistance with dining recommendations and tips for navigating the historic center, from the stunning Palacio de Bellas Artes to the mesmerizing Museo del Templo Mayor. The large, well-appointed rooms feature modern amenities like air conditioning and free WiFi, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of culinary adventures. I was particularly charmed by the hotel's blend of historic character with contemporary comforts. My traveling companions and I found it not only easy to explore iconic attractions, but also to enjoy the local food stalls and restaurants within walking distance. If you are a foodie seeking a uniquely Mexican experience while enjoying the historical embrace of the city, Hotel MX Mas Centro is undoubtedly a perfect starting point for your culinary journey through Mexico City.
